An exhibition of Japanese-inspired ceramics by artist Delsa Nagata is due to open at 11 a.m. on October 24 at the Pinacoteca Fórum das Artes in Botucatu, Brazil. The city announced a free October 23–24 arts programme that includes the exhibition. Its title means Ceramics – Dialogues with Japanese Culture.
Nagata's works explore ancestry, memory, identity and belonging through ceramics inspired by Japanese art and culture. The exhibition is scheduled to run until December 6, with free admission for all ages. Opening hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
The weekend programme covers literature, music, ceramics, theatre and artist training. October 24 brings two free workshops, on cultural management and sustainability, then fundraising and artistic project planning; advance registration is required. The October 23 programme includes the Botucatu Academy of Letters' 2026 anthology and the Camminando e Cantando choir for Italian Culture Week.
