By his fourth day in foster care, Finn had pressed his head into his foster carer's hand when breakfast arrived. Finn is a male cat being fostered in England, and his carers estimate that he is no older than two years old. He was frightened when he was first taken to a veterinary practice.
He still seeks affection by pushing his head into a hand, and on one occasion stayed on a lap for a cuddle lasting 90 minutes. Around new people, however, Finn remains nervous. He needs time to develop trust with people he has not met before.
His playthings include balls, toy mice and knotted toys, with an occasional leaf among them. He also spends hours sitting outdoors and watching birds. His carers are looking for a patient adopter with experience, who can give him safe access to the outdoors.
