At a rescue in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, two tabby and white brothers share their daily routines. Stinker and Peanut were left together at the rescue's doorstep and now share life in its care. The larger brother, Stinker, enjoys having his chin and back scratched.
When someone is petting Peanut, Stinker approaches and gently nudges the person's hand. He also spends time grooming his smaller brother, while Peanut leans into the licking. Peanut can be shy at first, but he has his own way of asking for affection: a series of small nudges.
For Peanut, scratches around the head and under the chin are welcome attention. The brothers also settle down curled up together when it is time to sleep. Their shared activities extend beyond resting: when one discovers a toy or a sunny spot, the other often comes over to join him.
