When someone reaches out to pet Peanut, Stinker comes over to the person and gently nudges that person's hand. These two cats are tabby-and-white brothers in rescue care in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they live together after being left at a rescue doorstep. Stinker, the larger of the brothers, enjoys being scratched on his chin and along his back.
Peanut can be shy at first, yet he also seeks affection, making small nudges to ask for attention. He enjoys scratches on his head and under his chin. Stinker grooms Peanut as well: while one brother does the licking, the other leans into it.
The brothers curl up beside each other when they sleep. A toy or a sunny spot often brings them together, too: when one brother finds either of these, the other often comes over to join his brother.
