The UAE’s Minister of Economy and Tourism, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, met Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili at the UAE ministry’s headquarters in Dubai. Their economic discussions covered possible investment partnerships and joint projects across tourism, hospitality, food security, logistics and sustainable development.
Tourism talks covered investment in hotels, the management of destinations and cooperation between companies. Approximately 33,600 Georgian visitors travelled to the UAE in 2025, while 41 direct flights a week connected the two countries at the time of the meeting report. The ministers also discussed recycling and more efficient use of resources as part of a circular economy.
On food security, proposals included broadening the range of food suppliers and improving supply chains. Both sides considered how their countries’ locations could be used to improve logistics and help companies reach a wider range of markets.
