Oji Group has begun building an aseptic paper-carton packaging factory at Long Thanh High-Tech Park in Vietnam's Dong Nai Province. The factory will operate under the Oji Liquid Pak brand. Oji Liquid Pak general director Kestutis Sliuzas described the project as combining food packaging manufacture with research and development.
Sliuzas said the project includes technical services and the installation and maintenance of Japanese machinery. He said packaging manufacturers need to combine efficient operations, food safety, flexible production and circular-economy principles. Provincial industrial-zone official Nguyen Quoc An said the management board would coordinate with agencies to help resolve implementation obstacles.
Vietnam's Politburo issued Resolution No 10-NQ/TW on June 8, 2026, prioritising higher-quality foreign investment involving advanced technology, innovation, workforce development and technology transfer. Official Tran Viet Ha said Ho Chi Minh City's industrial-zone authorities seek to streamline planning and construction procedures for foreign investors and plan to monitor projects throughout preparation and operation.
